Job Purpose:

• As BRANTU’s Treasury associate, you will be responsible for handling treasury related matters ranging from supporting in cashflow planning to executing cash payments and proposing different payment solution to vendors that would suit existing & new business requirements and minimize cash payments. This role will be crucial to achieve smooth operations and effective cash management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage short term cash availability to meet operational needs, and ensure cash is managed according to the investment strategy
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and sound internal controls for safe guarding of assets

• Initiate and confirm cash, wire Transfers, ACH Payments
• Record bank & cash transactions on daily basis using our accounting system
• Manage Daily and weekly cash flow’s based on Monthly projections & update daily CF template
• Weekly and monthly reporting of cashflows and report and analyze variance versus budget
• Maintain relationships with external banks
• Manage Employee imprests and settlements
• Review & audit Wallet activity and facilitate refunds
• Audit on Vendors and ensure compliance with internal policies before payment
• Identify, implement and optimize cash management opportunities
• Propose new payment schemes and policies to prevent against fraud
• Establish relations with vendors
• Support procurement during vendor selection to ensure compliance with internal controls for smooth payment
• Handle collections with third party providers and update system records

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree holder in Finance or other related field
• Team player, collaborative, able to work with others
• Attentive to details
• Highly proficient technical skills with the ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 1 – 3 years of experience in Treasury
• Previous work experience in Ecommerce and/or Retail industries is prioritized
• Experience working with ERP is a plus
• Excellent numeracy skills with an attention to detail
• Familiarity with forecasting methods and data analysis & tools
• Advanced knowledge of MS office
