Responsibilities:

• Explore and research structured fabrics manufacturers and fabrics suppliers to reach out of proper scaling with strong long-term strategies.
• Manage seasonal collection fabrics and development and supply according to Design team’s requests plus update news whilst respecting the collection guidelines.
• Research and development of new fabric concepts and technologies and propose ideas according to the annual calendar (seasonality).
• To be in constant communication with fabric manufacturer suppliers and inform Buying & Design teams about the latest trends, new qualities and stock level weekly basis.
• Fabrics Calibration by using GSM and Stitch Length.
• Put strategies for fabrics development via forecasting by season.
• Create mood board, swatch and catalogue for the materials.
• List and manage the material system.

Requirements

• Must be an expert in the fabrics and textile industry
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar field
• Excellent communication skills
• Good command of the English language
• Able to work with systems and has good knowledge of MS Office
• Bachelor’s degree
